BioGaia Probiotic Drops by Evopharma is a new generation probiotic containing Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis, specially developed for newborns, babies and young children, which strengthens the immune system and reduces the risk of infections and digestive disorders. Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis are resistant to the harmful and aggressive effects of hydrochloric acid and bile salts in the stomach and intestines. BioGaia is the only probiotic on the Bulgarian market that contains the strain L.reuteri Protectis DSM 17938, isolated from breast milk, with documented and proven effectiveness and safety in 96 clinical studies conducted in 9300 patients - newborns, children and adults. Probiotic bacteria bind to the intestinal mucosa and epithelial cells and thus can act in the intestines. Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis is the only lactobacillus that secretes reuterin - an antimicrobial agent that suppresses the development of harmful microorganisms in the digestive tract and at the same time does not affect the development of other bacteria normal for a healthy person. 
Method of use:
The usual daily dose is 5 drops per day. For colic – 1 dose per day /long term/. For antibiotic treatment – 1 dose per day, up to 5 days after stopping the antibiotic. For diarrhea – 1–3 doses per day during the acute phase, 1 dose per day for 5 days afterwards. For strengthening the immune system – 1 dose per day (long term)
Composition:
5 drops contain 100 million live active Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis. Other ingredients: Sunflower oil, medium chain triglyceride oil C8-C10, silicon dioxide.
