TRACHISAN / TRACHISAN TABLETS composition: One tablet contains Tyrothricin 0.5mg, Chlorhexidini digluconas 1mg, Lidocaini hydrichloridum 1mg.
TRACHISAN / TRACHISAN TABLETS indications:
Gingivitis, stomatitis, glossitis, pharyngitis and laryngitis, tonsillitis, difficulty and painful swallowing. It is also used after tooth extraction and tonsillectomy.
TRACHISAN / TRACHISAN TABLETS dosage and application:
For adults, 1 tablet every 2 hours up to 8 times a day. Keep in the mouth until completely dissolved. For children, 1 tablet up to 6 times a day.

What Trachizan is and what it is used for Lozenges, cast Trachizan is used for the local treatment of inflammations and infections of the oral cavity and throat, such as inflammations of the oral mucosa and gums, periodontitis, glossitis, angina, pharyngitis, difficulty swallowing. For the prevention of infections before and after surgical operations in the oral cavity and throat (tooth extraction, surgical treatment of gums, removal of tonsils). Inflammations in the oral cavity can be caused by pathogenic and other factors. Symptoms are redness and hypersensitivity of the mucous membranes, accompanied by a burning sensation in the mouth, difficulty swallowing, sore throat and hoarseness. The combination of active substances contained in Trachizan tablets has an antibacterial, antiseptic and analgesic effect, which significantly improves the complaints. Trachizan tablets do not contain sugar, therefore they do not pose a risk of developing caries. 2. Before using Trachizan Do not use Trachizan: if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of Trachizan in extensive wounds of the oral mucosa in large fresh wounds in the oral cavity in children under 6 years of age Use Trachizan with caution In case of fructose intolerance, treatment is carried out only after consulting a doctor. Taking other medicinal products So far, no adverse drug reactions, such as manifestations of drug interactions, have been known. Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even those obtained without a prescription. Pregnancy and breast-feeding There are no reports of harmful effects of Trachizan when used during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Due to the lack of data, the product can only be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding after consulting a doctor. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicines Driving and using machines Trachizan lozenges are assumed to be safe and are unlikely to affect the ability to drive and use machines. Important information about some of the ingredients of Trachizan This medicinal product contains sorbitol. When taken according to the dosage recommendations, each dose provides up to 0.69 g of sorbitol, corresponding to 0.057 bread units. The medicinal product is suitable for diabetics. Not suitable for congenital fructose intolerance. May cause gastric irritation and diarrhoea. Due to the decreased sensitivity in the nasopharynx, it is possible for oral contents to accidentally enter the respiratory tract, which requires increased caution when used by patients under 12 years of age. Warning for athletes: When using Trachizan, doping control tests may be positive. 3. How to take Trachizan Always take Trachizan as prescribed by your doctor. Dosage: For adults: one tablet is sucked at intervals of two hours, up to 8 times a day; Children over 6 years of age - up to 6 times a day. With regular use of the product, complaints usually resolve after a few days. Duration of treatment: To ensure lasting success of the treatment, Trachizan is taken for another 2-3 days, even after the symptoms have subsided. In the absence of significant improvement after 10 days of use, consultation with a doctor is necessary. Trachizan should not be used for more than 6 weeks without consulting a doctor. What should you do if you take more Trachizan? Due to the pharmacological properties of the product, toxic effects are not expected even if large amounts of Trachizan are accidentally swallowed. The treatment of choice for swallowing very large amounts is gastric lavage. What should you do if you miss a dose of Trachizan? Do not double the next dose to make up for the missed one. Instead, continue taking it as directed. If you have any further questions on the use of this medicinal product, ask your doctor or pharmacist. 4. Possible side effects Like any medicine, Trachizan can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. In rare cases, allergic reactions to tyrothricin may occur. Trachizan tablets are generally well tolerated, but the product may cause a decrease in taste sensations and numbness of the tongue, which usually disappear completely within an hour. Yellow to brownish discoloration of teeth, fillings, dentures and tongue, which occurs in rare cases with prolonged use, can be removed by diligently maintaining oral hygiene. However, the discoloration also disappears spontaneously after stopping use of the product. If any of the side effects become serious or you notice any that are not described in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist 5. How to store Trachizan Keep out of the reach of children! Store in a dry place, at a temperature below 25°C! Do not use after the expiration date stated on the packaging. Medicinal products should not be disposed of in wastewater or with household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of any remaining medicine. These measures will help protect the environment. 6.
