1. What Allergozan cream is and what it is used for
Allergozan cream contains the active substance chloropyramine from the group of so-called antihistamines. It has a well-pronounced antiallergic effect. Applied to the skin, it suppresses itching, eliminates redness, swelling and rashes. Allergozan cream is used for insect bites; contact dermatitis and other itchy dermatoses (skin inflammation); rash and itching in various allergic conditions that do not affect large areas of the skin. If after 5 to 7 days you do not feel better or your condition worsens, you should seek medical help.
2. What you need to know before you use Allergosan cream Do not use Allergosan cream
if you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before using Allergosan cream.
If you have chronic skin diseases with hyperkeratosis (hardening, thickening of the surface layer of the skin), the use of the other dosage form - Allergozan ointment - is more appropriate.
It is not recommended to apply the product to open wounds or burns.
When applying the product, be careful not to let any of it touch the mucous membrane of the nose or mouth.
Other medicines and Allergozan cream
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.
It is not known whether other medicines affect the action of Allergosan cream.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine. Your doctor will decide whether the use of Allergozan cream is suitable for you.
Driving and using machines
Allergozan cream does not affect active attention and can be used by drivers and machine operators.
3. How to use Allergozan cream
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor, pharmacist or nurse has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is:
Adults and children (infants and children up to 18 years of age) - a small amount of the cream is applied to the affected surface 2-3 times a day, gently rubbing into the skin.
Method of administration
Allergozan cream is intended for topical application to the skin only. It is suitable for use in acute skin reactions with the formation of exudate (secretion, inflammatory fluid). It can be applied under a bandage or through physiotherapy procedures, in order to better penetrate the skin and achieve a rapid healing effect. It should not be applied to open wounds, in the eyes, on the mucous membrane of the nose and oral cavity.
Duration of treatment – 5 to 7 days.
If you use more Allergozan cream than you should
Since the product is applied topically to the skin, overdose is unlikely. In case of accidental ingestion of a large amount of the product, seek medical attention.
If you forget to use Allergozan cream
Do not apply a larger amount of the medicine to make up for a missed dose.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Very rarely, Allergozan cream may cause itching or skin irritation.

5. How to store Allergozan cream
Store in the original packaging, at a temperature below 25°C.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not use Allergozan cream after the expiry date stated on the packaging. You can use this medicine 6 (six) months after opening the tube.
Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use. This will help protect the environment.
6. Contents of the pack and other information What Alergozan cream contains
The active substance is chloropyramine hydrochloride 10 mg in 1 g of cream. The other ingredients are: macrogol 300, macrogol 4000.
What does Allergozan cream look like and what the pack contains?
White cream, odorless.
18 g or 60 g of medicinal product are dosed in membrane aluminum tubes with plastic polypropylene caps.
1 (one) tube, together with a leaflet, is placed in a single folding box made of one-sided pigment-coated cardboard.
