Indicated for use in:
– nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis
– chronic idiopathic urticaria
 
Active ingredient – cetirizine dihydrochloride.
Stops runny nose, tearing and sneezing.
Relieves itching in the nose and eyes.
Long-lasting effect – up to 24 hours.
Convenient to take – once a day.
For adults and children over 6 years old.

Method of administration (AleZodak):
 
The tablets should be taken with a glass of liquid.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age:
10 mg once daily as 1 tablet.
Children between 6 and 12 years of age:
5 mg twice daily as half a tablet twice daily.
Patients with moderate to severe renal impairment:
In patients with moderate renal impairment, a dose of 5 mg once daily is recommended.
If you feel that the effect of ZODAK is too weak or too strong, please consult your doctor.
The duration of treatment depends on the type, duration and response of your complaints, and is determined by your doctor.
Contents of 1 film-coated tablet (AleZodak):
 
Active ingredient: 10 mg cetirizine dihydrochloride.
The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, povidone 30, magnesium stearate, hypromellose 2910/5, macrogol 6000, talc, titanium dioxide, simethicone SE emulsion.
 
Attention:
Do not take ZODAK:
 
If you have severe kidney impairment (severe renal failure and creatinine clearance below 10 ml/min);
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance of ZODAK, to any of the ingredients, to hydroxyzine or to other piperazine derivatives (similar active substances of other medicines).
 
Do not take ZODAK:
if you have a hereditary disease such as galactose intolerance, the Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
 
Take special care when using ZODAK
If you have kidney failure, please ask your doctor for advice; if necessary, you will take a lower dose. Your doctor will determine the new dose.
If you have epilepsy or are at risk of convulsions, you should ask your doctor for advice.
At usual doses, no clinically significant interactions of cetirizine with alcohol have been observed (at a blood alcohol concentration of 0.5 g/l, corresponding to a glass of wine). However, as with all antihistamines, concomitant use of alcohol is not recommended.
Taking other medications
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Due to the profile of cetirizine, interactions with other drugs are not expected.
