BRONHOLITIN / BRONHOLITIN SYRUP description:
Broncholitin syrup is a combined medicinal product that suppresses cough, dilates the bronchi and liquefies secretions in the respiratory tract. It also has a weak bronchoantiseptic effect. It is used in the complex treatment of inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.
Do not use Broncholitin if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of Broncholitin. If you have ischemic heart disease; high blood pressure; severe organic heart disease with signs of decompensation; increased thyroid function (thyrotoxicosis); pheochromocytoma; increased intraocular pressure (glaucoma); prostate enlargement with urinary retention; insomnia. In children under 3 years of age If you are pregnant (first 3 months) or breastfeeding.
Application and dosage:
Always take Broncholitin exactly as described in this leaflet. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Take the syrup by mouth after a meal.
The usual dose is: • Adults and children over 10 years: 10 ml 3-4 times a day. • Children from 3 to 10 years: 5 ml 3 times a day. Duration of treatment: 5-7 days. If symptoms persist after the 5th day or your condition worsens, contact your doctor!
Composition:
• The active substances are: glaucine hydrobromide 5.75 mg and ephedrine hydrochloride 4.6 mg in 5 ml syrup. • The other ingredients are: ethanol 1.7 vol. %, sucrose, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, basil oil, polysorbate, citric acid monohydrate, purified water.
