CETEBE / CETEBE capsules description:
Cetebe is recommended for the prevention and treatment of conditions associated with vitamin C deficiency, to maintain the body's natural resistance to viral infections and to reduce the severity and duration of colds. It is available in a convenient package of 30 capsules. Each CETEBE extended-release capsule contains ascorbic acid (vitamin C) as the active ingredient. Vitamin C is an essential vitamin that is important for the growth and maintenance of healthy skin, gums, teeth and bones. Each CETEBE capsule contains 500mg of extended-release ascorbic acid to provide the body with vitamin C for 8 to 12 hours.
Usage:
Adults: 1-2 capsules per day. Capsules should be taken with water. Capsules or their contents should not be chewed. Do not take more than the recommended dose.
Composition:
Each CETEBE capsule contains 500mg of ascorbic acid. Also contains sugar, corn starch, stearic acid, shellac, talc, tartaric acid, water, riboflavin, gelatin.
Warnings: Do not take Cetebe capsules if you suffer from oxalate urolithiasis /certain types of kidney stones/, if you have thalassemia or hemochromatosis /diseases associated with iron accumulation in the body/ or if you are allergic to ascorbic acid or any of the other ingredients. When used simultaneously with medicinal products containing iron, its increased absorption from the gastrointestinal tract should be taken into account. False positive results for glucose in the urine may be observed when using oxidative methods of analysis. Interactions with medicinal products containing aluminum are possible. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should not take more than the recommended doses. Not recommended for use in children under 6 years of age. Do not take for periods longer than 6 months without consulting a doctor.
