Indications:
Escapelle is an emergency contraceptive (an emergency contraceptive) that is used after unprotected sex or when a contraceptive method has failed. This type of contraception is often called the „morning after pill“. Escapelle therefore stops pregnancy before it occurs. The pill does not work if you are already pregnant.
Dosage and administration:
Always take Escapelle exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Take the tablet as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours after unprotected intercourse, but no later than 72 hours (3 days) afterwards. Swallow the tablet whole with a little water if necessary. Do not delay taking the tablet. Its action is more certain the sooner you take it after unprotected intercourse;
If you are already using a regular method of contraception such as birth control pills, you can continue taking them at your usual time.
This medicine is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age. If you are under 16 years of age, you should take the tablet under the supervision of your doctor.
