Otipax is intended for local symptomatic relief of pain, especially in acute non-perforated otitis media, viral otitis media with influenza, and otitis media with barotrauma.

Always read the leaflet before use! Active ingredients: Phenazone () 4g/100g and Lidocaine hydrochloride (Lidocaine hydrochloride) 1g/100g
Dosage: 4 drops in the affected ear 2-3 times a day. Before use, warm the bottle between your hands. Do not use Otipax for more than 10 days. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist after this period.
Directions for use: 1. Unscrew the cap from the bottle. 2. Screw the dropper onto the bottle. 3. Remove the protective cap from the dropper. 4. Turn the bottle upside down and gently squeeze the dropper until 1 drop is formed. 5. Repeat squeezing until 4 drops are obtained. 6. Turn the white cap of the dropper back after use. Warnings: Do not use if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substances or any of the other ingredients. Do not use this medicine if you have a perforated eardrum. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, Otipax can be used, but only after consulting a doctor. If the symptoms persist for more than 10 days, you should consult a doctor. If you have a perforated eardrum, Otipax can cause unwanted effects in the middle ear and therefore, in cases of doubt, before treatment with Otipax as a preventive measure, ask your doctor to check whether your eardrum is intact. In case of sudden hearing loss or in the presence of discharge from the ear, which may be signs of a perforated eardrum, do not use Otipax and contact a doctor. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Like all medicines, Otipax can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. Store out of the reach of children, below 30°C, away from sunlight. Do not use Otipax after the expiry date stated on the label and carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
