Alka Seltzer Effervescent tablets 324 mg x 10 pieces Bayer

Alka Seltzer is an analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory drug (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory/analgesic).
Alka-Seltzer is indicated for the relief of symptoms of headache, toothache, sore throat, menstrual pain, muscle and joint pain, back pain, and mild arthritis pain.
For colds or flu for symptomatic treatment of pain and elevated body temperature.
Method of application:
For oral use.
Effervescent tablets are dissolved in water before taking.
Dosage:
The usual dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is: 1-3 effervescent tablets as a single dose, which can be repeated after a minimum of 4 hours if necessary. The maximum daily dose of 12 effervescent tablets should not be exceeded.
This medicinal product should not be administered to patients under 12 years of age unless expressly prescribed by a doctor.
Precautions:
Do not take Alka-Seltzer if:

you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or to any of the ingredients of this medicine;
if you have an (active) stomach ulcer or duodenal ulcer;
if you have a tendency to increased bleeding (hemorrhagic diathesis);
if you have previous cases of bronchial asthma caused by taking salicylates or substances with a similar effect, especially non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
if you suffer from severe liver failure;
if you suffer from severe kidney failure; if you suffer from uncompensated heart failure.
if you suffer from phenylketonuria.

Consult a doctor before taking: if you are taking medications containing acetylsalicylic acid, if you are taking regular painkillers, if you have a history of ulcers or bleeding in the stomach or intestines, if you have suffered from inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis), if you suffer from liver, kidney, heart or cardiovascular diseases, if you have bronchial asthma, various allergic reactions or if you are due to undergo surgery, an operation, or if you are being treated with other medications at the same time. The use of acetylsalicylic acid by children is not recommended.
Do not take this medicine in the last trimester of pregnancy (after 24 weeks of gestation). During the first and second trimester of pregnancy (within the first 24 weeks), you should consult your doctor before taking the medicine. Small amounts of acetylsalicylic acid and its metabolites pass into breast milk, and it is generally not necessary to interrupt breastfeeding when using the medicine for a short time, at the recommended doses for pain relief or fever reduction. However, if long-term use and/or in high doses (more than 8 effervescent tablets per day) is prescribed, the patient should interrupt breastfeeding.
Do not take Alka-Seltzer for longer than 4 days without consulting a doctor or dentist.
Active substance: acetylsalicylic acid. One effervescent tablet contains 324 mg of acetylsalicylic acid.
