Echinacea Forte by Dr. Theiss is a herbal medicinal product used for the prevention and treatment of recurrent upper respiratory tract infections. The contents also include an applicator, a dropper and a white screw cap, which are placed in a cardboard box with a patient leaflet. Contains 23 volumes of % alcohol. Available in a 50 ml package.
 
Echinacea products have immunobiological effects, which include increasing the number of white blood cells in spleen cells and stimulating the phagocytosis of human granulocytes. The active ingredients are polyynes, ascorbic acid and isobutylamides. Caffeic acid, various of its ethers, chicory acid, as well as polysaccharides and tannins have also been isolated.

Dr. Theiss Echinacea forte drops can be taken undiluted or diluted with cold liquids. It is preferable to drink a glass of water afterwards. The intake does not depend on meals.
 
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age:
3-4 times daily 55 drops (equivalent to 2.75 ml).
 
In extremely rare cases, shortness of breath, angioedema, dizziness, hypotension may occur when using Echinacea Forte.
 
Contraindications:
Under normal conditions, it should not be used by patients with advanced systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukemia, leukosis, collagenoses, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infections and other autoimmune diseases. Dr. Theiss Echinacea Forte should not be used in case of allergy to any of the ingredients.
 
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
Although there are no reports of harmful effects, the use of Dr. Theiss Echinacea Forte should generally be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Driving and using machines:
Dr. Theiss Echinacea Forte contains 22% alcohol by volume. This should be taken into account when operating machinery and when assessing the ability to drive.
