Description:
Mucoplant Anisol 100 mg soft capsules contain anise seed essential oil. A medicinal product from the group of mucokinetics, containing anise derivatives. Each capsule contains 100 mg of standardized anise oil, which among essential oils is known for its highest expectorant potential, as well as its beneficial effect on the gastrointestinal tract.
Mucoplant Anisol 100 mg soft capsules have expectorant, antispasmodic and antibacterial effects. It is indicated as an expectorant for diseases of the upper respiratory tract, accompanied by a dry cough and thick, viscous secretions.
The bactericidal effect of Mucoplant Anisol has been shown in various experiments. The phenol coefficient is taken as an indicator of the bactericidal properties. Compared to the coefficient of phenol, which is 1, that of anise oil is 0.4. This complements the prophylactic and therapeutic effect of Mucoplant Anisol in secondary bacterial infections of the respiratory tract.
Mucoplant Anisol is a drug that affects both acute and chronic cough. It is very well tolerated, which allows for long-term use in chronic cough, and safe combination with other medications.
