Composition: Active substance: One spray (equivalent to 0.14 ml of solution) contains 0.14 mg of azelastine hydrochloride. The other ingredients are: Hypromellose, disodium edetate, citric acid, anhydrous, disodium phosphate, dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, purified water. Directions for use: Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is one spray of Allergodil nasal spray, solution in each nostril twice a day - morning and evening (equivalent to a daily dose of 0.56 mg azelastine hydrochloride). The spray is carried out with the head upright. 1. Remove the protective cap. 2. Before use, pump several times until a uniform jet is obtained. 3. There is no limit to the duration of treatment. Please consult your doctor if you have the impression that the effect of Allergodil nasal spray, solution is too strong or too weak. If you have used more than the required dose of Allergodil nasal spray, solutionAllergodil nasal spray, solution is applied topically to the nose. Due to the small amount of active substance, signs of toxicity are not expected, even in the case of excessive overdose when applied topically. However, in the event of accidental ingestion of a large amount of the drug (e.g. the contents of 1 bottle by a child), medical attention should be sought immediately. There is no empirical data on toxic (very high, poisonous) doses of azelastine chloride in humans. The results of animal experiments show that extreme overdose and intoxication (poisoning) cause symptoms from the central nervous system (e.g. restlessness, anxiety or severe prolonged fatigue or drowsiness).
