Lamisil spray 1% x15 ml GlaxoSmithKline

Lamisil is an antifungal that kills fungi that cause skin infections. Lamisil is used to treat athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and ringworm (tinea corporis). Lamisil is also used to treat yeast infections such as pityriasis versicolor. Suitable for: adults and children over 12 years of age Always read the leaflet before use! Active ingredient: Terbinafine 1% Dosage: 1-2 times a day depending on the indications Before using Lamisil spray, the affected area should be carefully cleaned and dried. Apply a sufficient amount of the solution to completely moisten the treated areas and cover the affected area and the skin around it. Duration of treatment: - Tinea pedis (between the toes) - 1 week, 1 time per day - Tinea cruris, tinea corporus - 1 week, 1 time per day Pityriasis versicolor - 1 week, 2 times per day Relief of clinical symptoms is usually observed after a few days. Warnings: Irregular treatment or premature discontinuation of treatment carries a risk of re-infection. There is no evidence of the need to adjust the dosage in adult patients, as well as data on the occurrence of adverse reactions different from those in younger patients. Clinical experience in children is limited / therefore its use is not recommended. In order for the spray pump to function, the bottle should be held in an upright or upside down position. Before the first application of Lamisil spray, it should be sprayed several times in the air to prime the pump. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to terbinafine or to any of the excipients. Lamisil spray should be used with caution in patients with skin lesions in which alcohol may cause irritation. Lamisil spray is for external use only. It may cause eye irritation. Lamisil spray should not be applied to the face. If it accidentally gets into the eye, rinse carefully with cold water. In case of inhalation and any symptoms appear or develop, a doctor should be consulted. Lamisil spray should be kept out of the reach of children.
