SINECODE 0.15% Syrup indications:
SINECODE 0.15% Syrup contains the active substance butamirate citrate, which belongs to the group of drugs for suppressing cough. SINECODE 0.15% Syrup is used for symptomatic treatment of cough of various origins. It is used for acute and chronic dry irritating cough of various etiologies (bronchitis, whooping cough); spastic cough. Pre- and postoperative suppression of the cough reflex during surgical interventions and bronchoscopy SINECODE 0.15% Syrup composition: The active substance is butamirate citrate. The other ingredients (excipients) are: sorbitol solution 70 % w/w. glycerol, sodium saccharin, benzoic acid, vanillin, sodium hydroxide 30 % w/w, ethanol 96 % v/v, purified water. SINECODE 0.15% Syrup dosage: Always use this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Do not use SINECODE 0.15% Syrup for more than 7 days (one week) without consulting your doctor. Children from 3 years to 6 years - 5 ml (1 teaspoon) 3 times a day. Children from 6 years to 12 years - 10 ml (2 teaspoons) 3 times a day. Adolescents over 12 years - 15 ml (I tablespoon) 3 times a day. Adults - 15 ml (1 tablespoon) 4 times a day.
