ASPIRIN PROTECT / ASPIRIN PROTECT
Indications: Inhibition of platelet aggregation in unstable angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction, for prophylaxis against recurrent infarction, after surgery or intervention of blood vessels (e.g. PTCA, after CABG). It is also suitable for: prophylaxis of transient ischemic attacks and cerebral infarction, for reducing the risk of primary myocardial infarction in people with cardiovascular risk factors, e.g. Diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, obesity, smoking, advanced age.
Dosage and administration: For unstable angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction - 1 tablet per day; For prevention against repeated infarction - 3 tablets per day. After arterial surgery or intervention - 1 tablet per day. Prevention of previous ischemic attacks and cerebral hemorrhage after the onset of previous stages 30-300 mg acetylsalicylic acid. Prevention of coronary thrombosis in patients with multiple risk factors - 1 tablet per day. Long-term prevention of migraine 1-2 tablets per day.
Warnings: Do not use Aspirin Protect: If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to acetylsalicylic acid, salicylates or any of the other ingredients of Aspirin Protect; If you have active stomach or duodenal ulcers; If you have a pathologically increased tendency to bleed. Without consulting a doctor, Aspirin should not be taken during the first and second trimester of pregnancy. Small amounts of acetylsalicylic acid and its metabolites pass into breast milk. Since no harmful effects have been reported so far, it is usually not necessary to stop breastfeeding during short-term treatment of pain or high fever with Aspirin at the recommended dose. If - in exceptional cases - long-term therapy or higher doses (more than 6 tablets per day) are prescribed, premature cessation of breastfeeding should be considered.
