SARIDON / SARIDON Tablets description:Saridon contains paracetamol, propyphenazone and caffeine, and can be taken by adults and adolescents over 12 years of age for the relief of pain in headaches, toothaches, menstrual discomfort, postoperative or rheumatic pain. For colds and flu to relieve pain and fever. SARIDON / SARIDON Tablets use:Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure about anything, ask your doctor or pharmacist.For adults, the recommended dose is: 1-2 tablets.Use in children over 12 years of age: the daily recommended dose is 1 tablet.If necessary, you can take up to three single doses within 24 hours.Take the tablets with sufficient water or other liquid. Saridon is a painkiller. It relieves pain and lowers fever. It is used to treat headache, toothache, menstrual cramps (pain during the monthly cycle), rheumatic pain, pain after surgery and fever due to colds or flu. When should you not use Saridon? Do not use Saridon if you are hypersensitive to propyphenazone, other pyrazolone substances or paracetamol (acetaminophen). Do not use Saridon if you have serious liver or kidney disease or hereditary anemia (hemolytic anemia). Saridon should not be given to children under 12 years of age. When should you take special care with Saridon? Do not take doses of Saridon higher than those stated in this leaflet. As with all painkillers, you should not take Saridon for a long period of time unless under medical supervision. You should be aware that if you take painkillers for headaches for a long time, the headache may become chronic. Taking Saridon or other analgesics containing paracetamol (acetaminophen) for a long period of time can cause kidney damage or even kidney failure. If you have a fever or pain that lasts more than a week, you should consult a doctor. If you suffer from asthma, chronic colds or chronic rashes, or are hypersensitive to other painkillers or antirheumatic drugs, you should only use Saridon after consulting a doctor. There have been reports of respiratory and circulatory problems in people taking medicines containing paracetamol (acetaminophen) or propyphenazone, especially in sensitive patients. Do not use painkillers such as Saridon together with alcohol or if you suffer from alcohol-related disorders. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any other illnesses or allergies, or if you are taking any other medicines (including those without a prescription). Can Saridon be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding? Do not use Saridon if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless your doctor has told you so. How to take Saridon The single dose for adults is 1-2 tablets; for adolescents aged 12-16 years it is 1 tablet. If necessary, you can take up to three single doses within 24 hours. Take the tablets with plenty of water or other liquids. Stick to the dosage described in this leaflet or the dosage prescribed by your doctor. If you think that the effect of the medicine is too weak or too strong, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Possible side effects of using Saridon Rare allergic reactions (skin rashes, hives) have been observed in people using Saridon. Very rarely, respiratory problems or circulatory system reactions may occur, especially in sensitive individuals (see precautions above).
