TALCID / TALCID 500mg tablets description: Talcid contains the active ingredient hydrotalcite and can be taken by adults and children over 12 years of age for the symptomatic treatment of disorders in which there is hyperacidity, such as complaints related to increased acidity, gastro-esophageal reflux (GER), acute and chronic gastritis, gastric or duodenal ulcer. Application: Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure about anything, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Usage: For the symptomatic treatment of: - heartburn and complaints related to increased acidity: 500-1000 mg hydrotalcite as needed. The total daily dose of 6000 mg hydrotalcite should not be exceeded. - gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acute and chronic gastritis: 500-1000 mg hydrotalcite 1-2 hours after meals, at bedtime and when symptomatic complaints occur. The total daily dose of 6000 mg hydrotalcite should not be exceeded. - gastric or duodenal ulcer: 1000 mg hydrotalcite 3-4 times daily after meals, at bedtime. The total daily dose of 6000 mg hydrotalcite should not be exceeded. Treatment should be continued for at least 4 weeks after the first resolution of symptoms. For oral use.
