Exoderil 1% cream for the treatment of fungal infections of the feet x15 g Sandoz

EXODERIL CREAM 15 g. indications:
Exoderil 1% cream is suitable for the treatment of fungal infections and contains the active substance naftifine. It is active against skin fungi, yeasts, molds, etc. It is also active against various bacterial infections that often occur in fungal infections in humans. Its anti-inflammatory effect quickly affects the symptoms of inflammation and especially itching. Since it is quickly absorbed by the skin and remains for a long time in its various layers, Exoderil is applied only once a day. 
Exoderil is used to treat: fungal infections of the skin and skin folds, which are recognized as redness, peeling and swelling or itchy blisters fungal infections of the feet (especially between the toes, the bottom of the foot) and hands fungal infections of the nails candidiasis of the skin pityriasis versicolor (multicolored lichen). 
Dosage and administration:
A thin layer of Exoderil1% cream is applied to and around the affected areas and rubbed in gently. These areas should be cleaned and dried carefully before applying the cream. It is applied once a day. Despite the rapid improvement of symptoms (itching, redness, etc.), it is important for patients with fungal skin infections to continue their treatment for 2 weeks after the symptoms have completely disappeared, in order to prevent their recurrence. 
Composition:
The active substance is naftifine hydrochloride. 1 g contains 10 mg naftifine hydrochloride; 10 mg benzyl alcohol as a preservative. The other ingredients are: sodium hydroxide, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, isopropyl myristate, distilled water.
