Hexalgin reduces high fever in children and adults, reduces acute and severe pain. Contains metamizole. Fast-acting. Hexalgin is a medicinal product belonging to the pyrazolone group, which is used for pain and fever. It is used for acute and severe pain after injury or surgery, colic (spastic pain in the abdominal area), other severe acute or chronic pain, high fever that does not respond to other types of treatment. Suitable for: Adults and children over 12 years of age. For children under 12 years of age, the product should be used only as prescribed by a doctor. Always read the leaflet before use! Active ingredients: Metamizole sodium 500mg in 1ml (20 drops) Dosage: 13-14 years (46-53 kg): 15-35 drops up to 105 drops per day Adults and adolescents over 15 years of age (over 53 kg): 20-40 drops up to 120 drops per day In elderly patients, the dose should be reduced. Warnings: Do not take Hexalgin if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance metamizole, other pyrazolones (e.g. phenazone, propyphenazone) or pyrazolidines (e.g. phenylbutazone, oxyphenbutazone), as well as to any of the other ingredients. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, you should consult your doctor before using any medicine. The simultaneous use of Hexalgin and chlorpromazine (a medicine for the treatment of mental disorders) may lead to a decrease in body temperature (severe hypothermia). It is recommended that painkillers not be taken for more than 3 to 5 days without consulting your doctor again.
