TINCTURE IODINE 5% 20 ml Himax / TINCTURE IODINE 5 %
Composition: Iodine Ph.Eur. 5% in 50 ml / mg. potassium iodite, ethanol 96% v/v, purified water. Action: Iodine tincture is an antiseptic - oxidizes and destroys pathogenic microorganisms and their spores. It has a disinfectant, bactericidal and hemostatic agent. Use: For disinfection of the surgical field; for dressing wounds /around them/, superficial wounds with irregular granulation; for fistulas and ulcers; for actinomycosis, botryomycosis; for ringworm and other dermatomycoses. 1-2 times a day. Apply externally, by applying with a suitable swab. Contraindications: In case of hypersensitivity to iodine and ethanol, in case of irritant dermatitis and burns, in case of pregnancy and lactation. Do not apply to mucous membranes and open wounds! Store in a place inaccessible to children! Do not apply with occlusive dressings!
